Now ampoules are mostly colorless, which is conducive to checking the clarity of the liquid medicine.

Amber glass ampoules can be accepted for medicines requiring shading. Amber can filter out ultraviolet rays and is applicable to photosensitive drugs.

Important remind: Amber ampoules contain iron oxide. Trace iron oxide can be leached into the product.If the components contained in the product can be catalyzed by iron ions, amber glass containers cannot be used.

Ampoules are small glass containers used to hold liquid medicine. The capacity is generally 1~25ml. It is commonly used for liquid medicine for injection, Injection containers generally refer to ampoules or containers (such as penicillin vials) made of hard neutral glass.

The style of ampoules now includes neck ampoules and powder ampoules, and their volumes are generally 1, 2, 5, 10, 20ml and other specifications. Other ampoules have curved necks.

All ampoules used for water injection according to the new national standard GB2637-1995 are flexible necked ampoules.

In order to prevent glass chips and particles from entering the ampoule and polluting the liquid medicine when breaking the bottleneck of the ampoule, China's Drug Administration (SDA) has forced the implementation of flexible necked easy to break ampoules.
